If I could change them, I would.
They would liberate their clothing with colors
Smell of essential oils, not perfumes
They would have little and give much
We would all share in the abundance that comes from simplicity
We would have the life we loved and love the life we have.
I would be heard and my songs understood
They would be curious of my adventures
And participate in my dreams
I know now that it is not my place to change them
It is my place to be changed or better yet allow change to happen
I can try to create, mold, change them to what I want
But until I love the ones I got the way they are
I will never be happy
